Free SQL Cheat Sheets

Hey friends,

If I had to choose 1 data analyst MUST-KNOW skill, it would be SQL (structured query language). SQL is a language used by data analysts to talk to databases and it allows them to pull, manipulate, and analyze data. You don’t have to memorize or know EVERYTHING about SQL to become a data analyst. It’s actually common to google and look up SQL functions on the job. To make it easier, here are 3 SQL cheat sheets I found that you can save and refer to as you do your data analysis:

SQL Basics: Explore querying a table, filtering data, utilizing JOINs to query multiple tables, employing aggregate functions, incorporating subqueries, and more through sample queries. Access a downloadable format for printing.

Essential SQL Commands for Beginners: Dictionary-style lists of commands in SQL.

SQL Technical Concepts for the Job Interview: Explores JOINs, time and date functions, aggregate functions, window functions, and set operators with concise explanations and visual aids. Also contains interview questions and interactive solutions.
